Adult Kayaking Taster Session #2
A 2 hour fun kayaking taster session for adults (18+) on the Grand Canal in Monasterevin.
We are holding a fun Kayaking Taster Session for adults (i.e. 18+) on the Grand Canal in Monasterevin.
Delivered by qualified kayaking instructors
Gear to bring: Change of clothes, towel, old footwear. Wear swimwear or shorts and tshirt. You can get changed onsite on the day but the facilities are very basic.
You must be comfortable on the water to participate and you must be able to swim a short distance.
This will be a 2 hour session which will let you try out kayaking in a safe, fun and supportive environment.
A Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire must be completed in advance of participation. This can be done on arrival.
Event takes place at Monasterevin Blueway Kayaking Club Hub, in the little harbour down the steps from Moore’s Lock (across the aqueduct). You can park in the town and walk the short distance across the aqueduct or you can park at the Hub.
